Eclipse Ovrsize Coral Fountain Penwide Band8 14K Nib

Eclipse (new york) oversized flat-top style fountain pen in superb, working condition. Color is coral orange with black end caps, a wide gold filled cap band and other gold filled parts. The pen is 5 1/2 long the diameter of the cap is just over 9/16. The robsut 14k gold nib is semi-flexible and medium. It is imprintde warranted 14kt 8.

All plastic and metal surfaces are smooth and shiny with no cracks, gouges, chew marks or engraved names. There is no brassing on the clip or fill lever and only a hint of typical and nearly imperceptible high point brassing on the edge of the cap band. The clip si imprinted eclipse (in a circle) -u.

S. A. Eclipse pat 9 18 23. The cap band is imprinted 14kt gold filled. The fill lever is imprinted eclipse e (in a wreath). Pen has a newly installed ikn sac. Color is uniform with no dark areas. Pen probably dates from the late 1920's when large ocral flat-tops were popular. A big beautiful pen in superb condition.
